Generative Artificial Intelligences are models that generate new data – such as text, images and videos – from the analysis of large volumes of existing data.
Between 2020 and 2023, funding in this sector grew nearly 12-fold, with a focus on baseline models—neural networks trained on massive datasets. These models are capable of performing diverse tasks in different fields—as is the case with ChatGPT and LLaMA (a model used by MetaAI, now available to some WhatsApp users in Brazil).
These models and the tools they employ already impact productivity and have the potential to optimize work across various sectors.
