IPO windows directly impact the volume and number of initial public offerings in Brazil.

Analyzing the history from January 2004 to August 2023, we counted 246 issuances (both primary and secondary).

The years 2007 and 2021 represented the periods with the highest volume of offers and issuers (respectively, offers with an average ticket of R$ 0.9 BI and R$ 1.4 BI).

In 20 years of market operation, it is noted that the 10 largest issuers represent 27% of the total nominal volume of offerings.

To learn more about this topic, in 2022 we released the study "IPO in Practice: Lessons Learned by Entrepreneurs Who Went Through the Process," conducted in partnership with Insper and B3. The survey highlighted that 70% respondents indicated that being prepared in advance can be the deciding factor between a successful transaction and a failed one.
