What does the fable of the hare and the tortoise teach us?

Everyone here knows the fable of the hare and the tortoise: The hare used to make fun of the tortoise's slowness, until, tired of being the target of mockery, he challenged the hare to a race. The hare, sure of himself, readily accepted. Wasting no time, the turtle began to walk, with its slow steps, however, firm and constant. Soon the hare overtook the opponent, and seeing that he would win easily, he stopped and decided to take a nap. When he woke up, he didn't see the turtle and started running. Already in the final stretch, she finally saw her opponent crossing the finish line, all smiling. But what can the fable teach us? Many people end up falling into the wave of fashionable investments for fear of being left out of something promising and that will generate a lot of money quickly, such as: cryptocurrencies, following investment tips indicated by influencers (without studying the fundamentals), among others. As a result, many become the hare of the fable, wanting to “chase” short-term gains, with one-off investments, but napping during this journey, in the most important moments, and getting lost along the way. The tortoise in this story was steady, focused, disciplined and patient. And you? Will it be the hare or the tortoise?
