In recent years, the number of customers served by regional internet service providers (ISPs) has grown rapidly, to the point where they have surpassed large operators in the country. This growth can be attributed to a number of factors, including expansion into markets with less competition, cost reductions with technologies that offer better quality, and increased demand driven by the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, some regional providers took advantage of the moment to initiate consolidation movements in the sector, acquiring smaller providers to expand their user base and accelerate their growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
