{"id":5216,"date":"2023-09-28T16:08:28","date_gmt":"2023-09-28T19:08:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artica.capital\/clairfield-pilulas\/maiores-ipos-do-brasil\/"},"modified":"2025-08-21T15:03:35","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T18:03:35","slug":"maiores-ipos-do-brasil","status":"publish","type":"pilulas","link":"https:\/\/artica.capital\/en\/clairfield-pilulas\/maiores-ipos-do-brasil\/","title":{"rendered":"Largest IPOs in Brazil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>IPO windows directly impact the volume and number of initial public offerings in Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Analyzing the history from January 2004 to August 2023, we counted 246 issuances (both primary and secondary).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The years 2007 and 2021 represented the periods with the highest volume of offers and issuers (respectively, offers with an average ticket of R$ 0.9 BI and R$ 1.4 BI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 20 years of market operation, it is noted that the 10 largest issuers represent 27% of the total nominal volume of offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To learn more about this topic, in 2022 we released the study &quot;IPO in Practice: Lessons Learned by Entrepreneurs Who Went Through the Process,&quot; conducted in partnership with Insper and B3. The survey highlighted that 70% respondents indicated that being prepared in advance can be the deciding factor between a successful transaction and a failed one.
